SCAM UPDATE -- READ THIS FIRST! Please be aware that scams victimizing jobseekers are all over the Internet, and they often use job postings such as Click Manila in their illegal operations. A recent scam involves the sending of emails to potential jobseekers, promising them of jobs abroad but that they had to pay "training fees" and such first via mobile-phone payments such as G-Cash or money transfer agents like Western Union. (Read this story for more details.)
While we try to get rid of these postings and block the IPs of those who post them, we can only do so much. It is imperative, therefore, that you exercise maximum caution and due diligence in your job-hunting on the Internet. A simple rule of thumb is that no legitimate company or agency would ever ask or require you to send money or make purchases first in order to get that job. If an email or a job posting does, it is a scam. (For further information, please read our terms of use.)
